Rica grew up and initially worked in the Philippines, but moved to Calgary in 2010 with her family. She started working at Bridlewood Eye Care in 2013. Rica recently graduated from the Optician Program in 2020 and is now part of the management team at Bridlewood Eye Care. Taking the course has helped her to underpin her knowledge, skills, and ability in providing quality service to all patients of different ages.
Rica has a keen eye for details and listens intently to her customers to identify their needs. She values a good relationship with her esteem colleagues, and time with her family and friends to maintain a work-life balance. She looks forward to helping you in the clinic!
Sandy grew up in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and moved to Calgary in 2006 with her husband Ian, and two children. In her spare time, Sandy is a recreational distance runner. She also enjoys reading, hiking, trying new recipes in the kitchen, and spending time with her family, friends, and new puppy. Off and on, Sandy has been a member of the Bridlewood team for 9 years and truly enjoys seeing long-time patients and meeting new ones!
Maya moved to Calgary in 2009 and is loving it here. Even though music has always been her passion and is her actual background, she enjoys customer service too. She first visited Bridlewood Eye Care as a patient and loved the atmosphere so much that when she saw an opening to work here, she jumped at the chance to be a part of the Bridlewood Eye Care family. When she isn’t working here, she is spending time with her family or teaching music. She believes that the success of any workplace is the friendly attitude of the staff members
Bella is glad to be a part of the Bridlewood Eye Care team! She loves interacting with patients, helping with contact lens training, and checking-in patients for their eye exams. She is currently working part-time at Bridlewood Eye Care while being enrolled at Mount Royal University as a Biology major. She is looking forward to helping you during your next visit!
Kaia brings a unique blend of expertise to our eye care clinic, drawing from her background in media. Beyond her professional role, Kaia indulges in the stories woven into books, movies, and video games during her spare time. Her appreciation for storytelling enriches her interactions with patients and colleagues alike, fostering a welcoming and engaging environment at our clinic! Imee moved to Alberta in August 2022 with her family and recently graduated from SAIT with a Business Administration diploma. She works at Bridlewood Eye care part time and has enjoyed the experience and workplace culture. She loves to travel to different countries and experience different cultures and food. In her spare time, she likes to watch NBA games with her kids. She loves being part of the Bridlewood Eye Care team and loves attending training and development sessions. She looks forward to helping you at your next visit!
Payton moved to Calgary in 2012. She enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and Ultimate frisbee. Payton enjoys work life balance with her family and friends. She loves the Bridlewood Eye Care atmosphere and looks forward to helping you at your next visit!
Sophia is a university student majoring in biology, with the aspiration to become an optometrist. She joined the Bridlewood Eye Care family in 2023. In her free time, you can find her birdwatching, playing piano, and volunteering in the community. Sophia is happy to help you out at your next visit!
